Hi all! I hope you are all having a great weekend. My laundry room holds most of my cleaning supplies. Let me share my DIY mini cleaning supply closet with you.
I hide most of my cleaning supplies in here.
I have managed to stuff as much as possible in this narrow space.
It’s not a real cabinet. I created it by screwing 3/4″ x 5 1/2″ boards together to make the box. The full size of it is 15″ x 6 1/2′. I screwed in a back plate of wood that I used to attach it to the wall studs.
You can see I use every available bit of space.
I attached a long shutter with simple hinges for the door, and use an eye hook to keep it closed.
After trimming a shoe bag to fit the door, I was able to store cleaning supplies.
Those sticky lint rollers attach themselves to everything! Since the cabinet is a few inches from the window wall, I put a command hook on the side of the cabinet that faces the window wall and hang it there by itself.
The cabinet doesn’t hold everything, so here’s my other hideaway. Laundry pedestals under my appliances hold the bulky paper towels and other items.
A final comparison. It took awhile to get it as functional as this, but I love it!
