Good morning all! Today I want to share a pineapple pattern that I created using the square stitch. Square stitch gives you the even vertical rows that brick stitch doesn’t. Depending on the pattern, sometimes brick stitch looks better, sometimes square stitch looks better. One thing I like about square stitching is that you can copy cross stitch patterns. The tutorial for increasing and decreasing square stitch rows is here, if you need to refer back to it.
I put my pendant on a necklace chain, but I’m thinking of making a pair of earrings with this pattern.
I used two shades of green, pale yellow, white and 24k gold Delicas in size 11.
Here’s the pineapple pattern. You can right click on the image and hit copy, then paste it to Word if you want to print it.
