Make yourself a gorgeous looking flat spiral bracelet with this easy to follow tutorial. If you’re new to beading, this weave is simple and repetitive. I’ve made several bracelets using this weave. It’s quick and you can create a lot of versatile looks by changing up your bead type and colors.
You’ll need beading thread and needle, 28 6mm glass pearls, 56 4mm bicones, and some gold metallic size 11 seed beads. This number of beads will make a 7 inch bracelet. Decrease or increase the number of beads depending on your wrist size.
1- To get started put a stop bead on your thread, leaving about a 10 to 12 inch tail. Then load 2 pearls, 5 seed beads, 1 bicone, and 5 seed beads onto your needle. (The first photos show only 4 seed beads. I discovered that it was too tight, and I needed 5 seed beads on each side of the bicone.)
2- Pass your needle back up through the 2 pearls only.
3- Pull tight.
4- Load 5 seed beads, 1 bicone, and 5 seed beads onto your needle.
5- Pass your needle back up through both pearls.
6- Pull tight.
7- Add 1 pearl. Load your needle with 5 seed beads, 1 bicone, and 5 seed beads.
8- Pass your needle through the last 2 pearls.
9- Pull tight.
10- Load your needle with 5 seed beads, 1 bicone, and 5 seed beads.
11- Pass your needle back up through the last 2 pearls, again.
12- Pull tight.
Repeat steps 7 through 12 over and over until you are finished with your bracelet. Remove your stop bead and add your clasp.
The flat spiral bracelet stitch is easy. Now go have some fun and show off your work!
