Are you all getting in the Christmas mood? Getting your decorating and shopping going? I’ve been working on the inside decorating, and taking my vitamins to keep my energy up for the season.
This is my Gingerbread tree for the kitchen. Every year I enhance it by adding something to it. This year I created a cinnamon stick pot for the tree. Super easy.
I ordered the cinnamon sticks from Tiny House Farm on Etsy, then just glue gunned them around an extra plant container I had left over from a nursery purchase. I taped off the drainage holes with duct tape, and filled it with very fine sand. It holds the tree up with no problem.
I think it gives the tree a more “homey” look.
How about some close ups of these cute ornaments?
Next year I’ll come up with another idea to improve on the display. Right now I can’t keep the sleigh filled with candy. I turn around and it’s empty. I think there are a couple of candy mice in the house!
