Today I want to share a bead butterfly pattern with you using the brick stitch. How could I include ‘Butterflies’ in the name of my blog without stitching a butterfly? That would be wrong, so here it is. An adorable little butterfly pattern that you can make a pendant or pair of earrings from. I shared how to brick stitch in this post, if you need to refer back to it. This is just the right pattern for spring time.
What you’ll need are 5 different colors of Delicas: black, white, pink, green, and gold. Or choose colors that you prefer. Use your favorite beading thread. Mine is FireLine, 6 lb.
Here is the butterfly pattern. You can right click on the image, select ‘copy image’, and paste it to word document.
I wear my butterfly as a pendant around my neck, and I’ve gotten several compliments. Get your beads together and have some fun!
