I have one more storage area in my craft room to share later this week, but I did manage to squeeze in some updates to my foyer. I changed out my colorful yarn wall hanging to one more subtle.
You can read how I attached it to the dowel here. The circle is just an old embroidery hoop I found when cleaning my craft room.
This time I used a template made out of poster board to cut the bottom. It made it much easier than cutting it after it was hung up. All I had to do was a few snips to clean it up after I hung it.
I tied on 2 braids of yarn to make it unique.
My original plan was to get an autumn look, but I like it so much better that it’s going to stay.
My foyer table was a cream color, but I prefer bright white against the light gray wall.
I purchased a gallon of Behr’s Fashion Gray for a bookcase I plan on painting for the living room. I used a little of it for the drawers. I think it looks more contemporary, unless I’m already out of style. The paint color goes perfect with Behr’s Campfire Ash which is on my walls.
I like the look much better. And it was nice to take a break from the craft room.
I’ll be joining the Linky parties listed on my side bar.
