For my first jewelry instructions, I would like to share how I made this bead woven rhinestone bracelet. I occasionally enjoy making myself a piece of jewelry by bead weaving. I hope you don’t mind if I share how I make some with you. I took a piece of rhinestone chain, and wove beads around it.
I’m going to try and walk you through the steps. Its really easy. I use 6 lb. Fireline jewelry thread and size 11 aught glass seed beads. You can find these materials at Hobby Lobby or Michaels. I put 8 beads on my needle, and pass the needle back through them making a loop. Fit the loop over the first rhinestone, wrap the thread around the chain, then pass the needle back through the beads until you are exiting the 2 black beads which should be facing towards the next rhinestone. Put similar 8 beads on your needle.
Then pass the needle through the 2 end beads of my previous round surrounding the rhinestone.
Next I put my needle through 3 of the gold beads in the circle as shown:
I inserted my needle into the end 2 black beads:
Then I wrapped the thread around the bracelet and passed my needle back through the end 2 black beads. This step secured the beads in place. And repeat until you’re done. On the very last round I put 4 black beads at the end, then continued back down the gold beads to add more beads to fill the gaps in.
I now have a pretty new bead woven rhinestone bracelet.
I think I’ll be making more of these as Christmas presents.
