Hi all! Do you want to see what we’ve been up to in the Master Bathroom? The changes have made a drastic difference, while not requiring any expensive remodeling. A little paint, some contemporary updates, and closer attention to detail is all that we’re putting into it. You can see my painting projects in this room here.
I wanted a nice mirror for this wall to help brighten the room a bit more. While browsing for one, my husband zeroed in on this one. I think his choice was perfect. His taste in decorating has come a long way! The shiny frame is a gorgeous contrast to the dark gray walls.
This bathroom is large but doesn’t have a linen closet. Sheesh! As soon as we moved in I purchased the 3 tier black shelving to hold our towels. The basket holds the hand towels and wash cloths. This inexpensive arrangement works fine for us.
Do you notice the lighting? We replaced that, too. We had to. The original was so…uh…yuk!
Modern and sleek. That’s what we like.
And in the toilet closet we replaced this horrid thing with…..
this bright modern pendant!! It’s so much brighter!
I found this swivel, height adjustable vanity stool at At Home. It’s super comfortable, too. No more standing to fix my hair.
The best part is that it fits under the drawer and doesn’t interfere with opening and closing it.
Yep, that’s me! Thank you so much for visiting my master bath. I hope you enjoyed the tour and will be inspired to take on yours.
I’ve got a little more tweaking to do in this room, and can’t wait to show you my organized cabinets. But this post was long enough, so more will be coming later.
