Hi all! I thought I would share with you the pretty blooms that I’ve been enjoying this spring. This is my clematis ‘Rebecca’. Isn’t she a beaut? Her color is so vibrant and eye catching. This one will bloom again in August, but not as profuse. I like the clematis vine because it isn’t invasive like many others.
Good ole Salvia. It never fails. You get a lot of bang for your planting effort, because this one will keep blooming all year especially if you dead head it. It spreads in your garden but at a slow rate. I think next year I’ll be dividing it so I can have pops of purple through out my garden.
I have 2 large clumps of dianthus. I wish they bloomed all summer, but I only get to enjoy them in the spring. You can see where a little bunny was napping!
Veronica Speedwell is just starting to open up. She is a short flower, good for ground cover. She’ll bloom off and on all summer.
I’ve been preparing for an upcoming social at my house. The theme of it will be ‘Butterfly Garden’ – shocking! Soon I’ll share a hand crafted party favor, decorations and buffet.
