Keeping my craft supply hoard organized prevents me from purchasing duplicate items, and saves me time from doing searches when I’d rather be crafting. I’m going to share how I organize bias tape and trims today. Since I sew a lot of pillow case dresses, I need these supplies handy and easy to view. I’ve now got them stored on a cubicle shelf of my new cutting table.
I keep my bias tape in an all clear container that someone didn’t want. I’m all about clear storage, but also free.
I like how I can see the colors from the side. If I was really organized, I’d sort them by color. But it wouldn’t stay that way for very long.
On top of my bias tape, I keep an empty wet mop refill container filled with all of my rick rack. I keep spools, cards and loose rick rack in here. If I want to use some, I know where all of it is at once.
In the top container I keep all of my lace hem facing and tiny trim. This container is from Dollar Tree.
And that little bit of effort keeps my sewing and crafting projects easier to do.
