Finally I’m at the end of my craft room storage. An old curio cabinet holds the finished jewelry I make. I like to give pieces to friends and relatives at Christmas, so I need a place to store them throughout the year.
I added the fabric covered foam backing to it to glam it up some. I needed a fabric that wouldn’t camouflage the jewelry colors, so I chose a white with gold dots from Hobby Lobby.
I made the necklace stands because I needed something that would fit on these tiny odd shaped shelves. I’ll share how I did them in a later post.
I also made this bracelet stand, and I’ll share that later, too.
It’s hard to find jewelry displays that will fit on these narrow shelves and still get the door shut. I’ve got another idea up my sleeve that I’m going to try later.
It took some wiggling and pushing to get this earring stand in.
And now the craft room is officially done. The real challenge will be in keeping it nice and organized. You know how that goes when you’re deep in projects. Now the only sad situation about this room is not having a large work table. My son will be moving out in the next few months, and his bedroom is nice and big. Then I’ll get myself a nice work table.
The room is finished and now it’s craft fun time
