Happy beautiful Sunday! I’m continuing my Craft Room Series. This is also where I blog, plan, email, Pinterest, Facebook, you-name-it. This little spare bedroom is my get-away. Where I can go off alone and let my mind go where it wants.
Recently I replaced a small table for my printer with these Ikea shelves. They really increased my storage capability. I spray painted them glam gold, of course. And, yay, there is room to stuff more on them when I’ll need it. I have a couple of vintage jewelry boxes that were pretty rough looking on the outside, so I painted them. I’m dangerous – I paint everything.
They hold my collection of vintage jewelry. They were stuffed before I made my jewelry cross, and I really need to replenish my
hoard collection. I just love old rhinestone pieces.
My largest vintage jewelry box hold sequins and miscellaneous embellishments.
This cutey-patutey holds my glitter glue pens. It’s an old vintage planter I found in a thrift shop for a couple of bucks a few years ago.
I’m always on the lookout for fabric on sale to sew pillow case dresses for Operation Christmas Child. Hobby Lobby had these 3 fabrics on sale for $3 a yard, so I scarfed some up. Since I had some bare wall space, I used a little to create wall art with embroidery hoops.
I know I mentioned before that we visited Branson, Missouri to see Moses at the Sight and Sound theater last month. Well, I can’t go anywhere without browsing shops. Isn’t it illegal to avoid shops when vacationing? I think so. I’m pretty sure it is. Anyway, I’d been needing a new mouse pad, and what do you know? The perfect one was right there. It’s the piece that ties my desk to the craft room. (It’s the silliest little things that excite me.)
The craft room is coming along. Currently I’m working on organizing the closet. It has been an absolute nightmare, and I’m finding stuff that was lost. Yay! I’ll be ready to share it next week.
I hope this has been inspiring. Have a great week!
