Howdy All! I’ve wrapped up all of the bedroom projects that I plan on doing for now. This last one is a little table for my husband to use for his laptop. He likes browsing the internet in the privacy of our room, and really needed something to make him more comfortable.
It’s a mid-century table I picked up a few years ago at a thrift store. I had it in my craft room, but all that I used it for was dumping
junk very important craft project supplies. I painted it, then put a couple of coats of polyacrylic on. I added felt-bottom furniture glides so he could move it about without harming the wood flooring. He was so happy with it, that I would have done it sooner if I’d have known. I also added a floor lamp, which I’ve seen him use.
This little table was black, but I painted it yellow for some color.
And what do you think of my pothos? Isn’t it a beauty? I put it in here about a year ago, and it’s gone wild.
March was the month for working in our bedroom, and April will be the kitchen. The hardest one to work on yet. I’m going to stain the island, and paint all the cabinets. They are builder grade honey oak. Yuk! I also really need to do some decent organizing of the pantry and cabinets, too. I’m excited to get started.
I hope I’ve been inspiring.
