Good Morning! And finally the last of my Easter Egg decorating this year.
I’d never marbled anything with nail polish, so this was new for me. My supplies: old tub of water, nail polish, toothpicks, drying rack, and optional disposable glove. Oh, and hard boiled eggs.
I tried to take pictures, but found out that you can’t waste too much time before the nail polish dries up.
I dripped several colors of polish into the water, then used a toothpick to mix them by running it through.
I then submerged the egg into the water and pulled it out catching the nail polish on it’s surface. It was too difficult dipping the eggs and trying to hold the camera, so this is the only shot I got.
Here’s another picture of swirled nail polish floating on the water.
Later, after they dried, I did the other side of the eggs, since I couldn’t cover the whole egg the first time.
And here is my egg platter, finally full!
Now I can go finish my Easter tablescape, and show that tomorrow. I hope I’ve been inspiring.
